I contacted support and they told me it is still in beta.
I've checked the issue with my colleagues and it seems that our Jira Service Desk app is currently in the Beta phase, waiting to be reviewed by the Jira team, and that is why it is, unfortunately, not possible to create a connection in a standard way yet.

This is possible to use through HTTP requests, we use the API to sort issues and fire transitions. You could also design your own custom app for it, but a straight integration would be nice indeed.
